Because there has not been much research done on the Arabic language which is thought to be more challenging than other languages due to it has multiple cases and forms for a single letter—there is still interest in developing a system to verification the writer\\'s identity by he/she handwritting. These systems are thought to be essential in resolving complex legal issues involving security agencies and other issues. The foundation of our novel approach is the integration of a Harris corner detector with a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN).We also introduce a data augmentation algorithm to enhance the quality of the data. We tackle several problems related to this point by suggesting a method that can identify handwritten Arabic texts without the need to separate the characters, words to lines and by using upsampling to make the handwritten area of the image larger and more readable and this model work in offline mode with value 99.66% on the KHATT dataset.
Mays Zeedan KMuhanad Tahrir Younis

Image transmission can be secured effectively, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of the transmitted image data by applying encryption process. IoT systems required lightweight method to satisfy the limitation in the resources. In this paper a hybrid lightweight encryption method that combining SPECK and RC5 algorithms is proposed with a method for self key establishing. The essential to implement secure key management practices and use robust transmission protocols to mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities. Security and speed have been achieved to encryption/decryption color images of different sizes and different kernels based on the number of kernels selected. It is carried out in four rounds, where the output of one of the two algorithms is RC5 Input for the present algorithm is executed four rounds, the outputs of the present algorithm are swapped with the outputs of the second algorithm, RC5, and merge them to obtain the final encryption output. The keys of these algorithms are generated using the Six-dimensional chaos system equation.
Suhad Fakhri hussein

https://journal.muc.edu.iq/index.php/journal/article/view/605

Since the twentieth century, dystopian novels have regularly examined the association between mankind and surveillance. With the advance of technology, especially after the industrial revolution, technological devices were highly employed in surveillance. Surveillance is inherently political as various governmental institutions (agencies) use it to create docile, conformed bodies in order to enhance and sustain their control over individuals. This article attempts to examine the representation of surveillance and totalitarian societies in the dystopian novel 1984. Through this novel, George Orwell takes each of the anti-utopian characteristics to its extreme to be a debatable topic in literary and social theories for centuries. The totalitarian government in the novel exerts ultimate control over citizens, both mentally and physically through comprehensive and covert surveillance. Panopticism, a theory proposed by Jeremy Bentham and developed by Michel Foucault, is used to examine Orwell\'s work. to demonstrate how the party\'s surveillance methods are similar to the Panoptic prison\'s surveillance system. The main objective of this article is to show how certain elements of Panopticism are able to deconstruct the idea of privacy in George Orwell\'s 1984 and how internalized surveillance can influence society in general and the psyche of each individual in particular.
Muhammad Munir Abdul Jabbar

https://journal.muc.edu.iq/index.php/journal/article/view/606

This study\\'s objective is to investigate the behavior of concrete-encased castellated steel sections with varying pore sizes. There two different types of Shear Stud Interactions: Partial (P) and Full (F). When shear connectors with F are used, stud connections combine the concrete and steel components. Four Composite beams that are simply supported were tested in settings of two-point loading. By encasing concrete in castellated steel beams, four instances were produced. The maximum pressure support capability of the structures was evaluated. Castellated beams are among the many features that are assessed when two different kinds of contact occur. in keeping with the test\\'s findings. The F interaction that the sample experienced when utilizing caused the final load percentages to rise by around 6.4%. The percentages of mid-deflection and horizontal displacement are reduced as well by 10% and 6.7%, respectively, as compared to the same sample when P interaction is used. Furthermore, at complete interaction, the sample with the same aperture showed a larger final load.
Mohammed Abdelkareem QassimWaleed A.Waryosh

https://journal.muc.edu.iq/index.php/journal/article/view/607

Victorian Poetry thematically impresses on our minds its preoccupation with the obsessive and challenging reality of death. As it is, two Victorian Poems single out themselves as insistently dwelling on this thematic concern: Tennyson’s ‘’Crossing the Bar’’ and Browning’s ‘’Prospice’’. In ‘’Crossing the Bar’’, Tennyson, who seems to have a reconciliatory attitude towards death, sees it as a reassuring, natural and peaceful event. The poem is far from being sad. It vividly describes the poet meditating over his own death. In ‘’Prospice’’, Browning talks with his head held high as he intends to be reunited with his ‘’soulmate’’, his dead wife. Clearly, his attitude towards death is that of anticipation and of, almost, defiance.
It is important to see, after all, that the alarming theme of the two poems is channeled to address a disengaging reality that concerns us all.
Aziz Yousef Al-Mutalibi

https://journal.muc.edu.iq/index.php/journal/article/view/612

In this research, the multi-period probabilistic inventory model will be applied to the stores of raw materials used in the leather industry at the General Company for Leather Industries. The raw materials are:
Natural leather includes cowhide, whether imported or local, buffalo leather, lamb leather, goat skin, chamois (raw materials made from natural leather), polished leather (raw materials made from natural leather), artificial leather (skai), supplements which include: (cuffs - Clocks - hands - pockets), and threads.
This model was built after testing and determining the distribution of demand during the supply period (waiting period) for each material and completely independently from the rest of the materials, as none of the above materials is affected by the other in the supply process. This testing was done using the statistical package program, and then the optimal order quantity that was requested in each batch and for each item is determined, which is known as the optimal economic size of the order, and the reorder point was determined for each item. After that, the total storage costs were compared between the method used in managing stores in this factory and the model that was built, as the cost of using the probabilistic model was less than the method used by the company in managing the demand.
Nashaat Jasim MohammedGasaq Muhammad AbdAlaa Hikmat Abdalsatar

https://journal.muc.edu.iq/index.php/journal/article/view/617

Speech is one of the most natural forms of expression. As technology advances, the interaction between humans and machines is becoming more sophisticated. Research has shown that emotions can be detected not only through facial expressions but also through sounds. Like facial features, auditory characteristics such as pitch and intensity can provide valuable information about a person\\'s emotional state. Studies suggest that it is possible to build intelligent systems that recognize individuals\\' emotional states through their voices, distinguishing between anger, sadness, happiness, fear, normal state, and others. These systems can be used in various applications such as driver safety systems and customer service systems. In this study, we aim to apply emotion recognition systems in the sports field. The developed system called CHOOSE_TEST that tests the emotional state of CHOOSE players before they play a tournament to determine their psychological stability, Negative feelings such as sadness and anger will be referred to as an ABNORMAL psychological state, and positive feelings such as feelings of joy and natural will be referred to as NORMAL psychological state. The system detects the player\\'s psychological state through sound and its features. We built two models for this system: DL_CHOOSE model based on CNN and ML_CHOOSE model based on pre-trained (ResNet50) and transfer learning concepts. The system has an accuracy rate of 97% using CNN and 87% using ResNet50 for discrimination purposes.
Mohammed N. Kannah
