Abstract

This study examines the role of green marketing innovation—green product innovation, green process innovation, and green communication and offer innovation—in enhancing the environmental, economic, and social dimensions of sustainable development at Zain Telecommunications in Baghdad, Iraq. The analysis draws on responses from 171 employees working in operational and support departments. The findings show that green marketing innovation contributes to sustainable development and that its three dimensions play complementary roles. Green communication and offer innovation has the strongest relative contribution, followed by green process innovation and green product innovation. Evidence-based environmental disclosure, green incentives, device replacement programs, process digitization, energy management, and electronic-waste management emerge as the main channels through which a green orientation can generate sustainable outcomes. The study recommends linking green investments to measurable environmental, economic, and social performance indicators and reviewing their results periodically.
