الملخص
Life in general, and humanity in particular, cannot exist, or continue and develop without water, and the availability of water varies from one region to another, as well as from one country to another. In addition, to the fact that the surface water resources in most Arab countries are shared waters with countries outside the region, which threatens the security and safety of these resources despite the international agreements concluded between both upstream and downstream countries. The water crisis in the Tigris and Euphrates rivers represents a model for the water crisis in the Middle East. As a result of water projects related to the Tigris and Euphrates rivers by the neighboring countries of Iraq, Turkey, Syria, and Iran, which led to these countries bypassing Iraq's water rights in the Tigris and Euphrates rivers as a result of the illegal practices followed in the projects of the mentioned countries.
