Peer-Review Process

Al-Mansour Journal (AMJ) utilizes a double-blind peer review and adheres to all ethical policies and instructions set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

If, upon submission, the author of the submission has any potential reviewers they consider would be appropriate, this should be included in the cover letter with verified information (institutional email, ORCID, and/or Scopus ID). While the editor-in-chief will consider all suggested reviewers, this does NOT guarantee that suggested reviewers will be used.

If the author prefers that certain reviewers NOT be used, this should also be noted in the cover letter with a brief rationale for such a decision; however, the Journal advises against too many of these requests as it can complicate and lengthen the review process. Please note, however, that the Editorial Board reserves the right to use any reviewer it so chooses to protect the integrity and professionalism of the journal, even if the author requests otherwise.

The peer-review process should not be compromised in any other way, such as made-up peer reviewers, made-up names, or made-up email addresses; this is a serious violation of publishing ethics. The manuscript will be rejected, and a formal investigation may ensue according to the journal's policies for scientific ethics and misconduct.

Use of AI in The Review Process

Al-Mansour Journal (AMJ) ensures that the rights of authors are protected during the stages of review and publishing. Therefore, as of now, the journal does not allow any reviewers to use AI or AI-assisted tools during the review process. This may change and be posted at a later date in the future.
